A skin peel uses an expertly applied chemical agent to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin and stimulate cell turnover, revealing fresh, radiant skin. Skin peels are ideal for refreshing and revitalising skin that looks tired, dull and lacking in radiance. They can also be used to treat acne, sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles and scarring.

At The Face Clinic we are experienced in providing both superficial and deeper skin peels. Peels we offer include the Obagi Blue Radience Peel, Skinceuticals Gel Peels and The Perfect Peel (doctor only).

Superficial peels such as the Obagi Blue Radiance peel and the Skinceuticals Gel Peel are great for a skin refresh or as part of a course of treatment for a variety of skin concerns (including acne, pigmentation disorders and general skin health and have little to no downtime. Deeper peels such as The Perfect Peel (doctor-only) require more downtime but have a significant effect on skin concerns such a pigmentation, dark spots, lines and wrinkles. The Perfect Peel is particularly well suited to darker skin types with pigmentation issues.
